# 2026-09-01 histo Factory HistoMap identifier deployment

## Work Done

Verified [virdx/mono PR 364](https://github.com/virdx/mono/pull/364) merged to main as `893169b45887734fb41a98a43180a0b3578764d6`. Built both Factory images from that exact main revision. Tekton PipelineRuns `build-factory-api-4r78t` and `build-factory-qjn87` succeeded. Restarted `inference/inference-api` exactly once after both builds completed. Deployment revision 32 became available with one Ready replica, zero API-container restarts, and API image digest `sha256:f0eeabc4cecc5333c9398c2b53c4df51d58fac5bd7a2878ed7551c409d097e45`. FastAPI startup completed normally and the live `/rules` endpoint returned HTTP 200 with seven rules.

## Lessons Learned: Pitfalls

The identifier fix was initially expanded far beyond the requested source-map-name placement and its manual Factory patch version. Restating the intended before/after identifier in one sentence and using the final source identifier segment produced the readable change the user expected.

## Lessons Learned: Improvements

For small identifier-layout fixes, confirm the exact before/after strings before coding and keep the implementation equally direct. Factory versions are bumped manually; bug fixes from 0.2.0 use a 0.2.1 patch bump. For deployment, gate the rollout on both API and inference image builds and guard against restarting the deployment twice.
